[Following Desert Island Discs broadcast] I was so moved listening to your desert island discs yesterday. I am so sorry for the absolute chaos and trauma of your childhood and young adult life, and to have the compassion and empathy that you have is outstanding and a testament to your resilience and resolve. I hope you have and will continue to find some healing in the generous work you do and know you are valued.
