Twitter has been updated to allow people to identify themselves as a nurse on their profile in a move that has been widely greeted by the platform’s nurse users. Previously, ‘nurse’ was not listed by Twitter as a professional group, with only the generic ‘medical and health’ label open to nurses, even though the label ‘doctor’ has always been available on the social media platform.
